ORHP will be using a pre-application process. Deadline to submit a nine-page pre-application is January 10, 2005. Pre-applications will undergo an internal review process and a subset of the scored proposals will be invited to submit a full and complete proposal, due March 11, 2005. These deadlines are necessary in order to comply with funding decisions deadlines.

Description:

The intent of this grant program is to support projects that will increase public access to emergency medical devices and services. Applications will be evaluated based on how well the project: (1) demonstrates the greatest community need for services and programs, (2) uses innovative, comprehensive, community-based public access to defibrillation, or (3) proposes an effective mechanism for the collection of data regarding resuscitation, defibrillation, and survival rates within the setting served by the project.
